Our shared vision
Both Sulli's Landscaping Inc. and Little Foot Landscaping Co. share a common vision for a successful business operation. Both companies have principals, Mike and Tim with similar strong core beliefs that shape their vision of a successful business. A successful business must:• give customers fair value for their dollars by offering creative, low maintenance designs maximized for seasonal colors; quality workmanship, materials and nursery stock, and prompt customer service;• give our employees fair wages for their time and experience in their chosen career by paying a wage which can support them and their families; by offering opportunities for advancement through tuition assistance; and by treating our employees with respect and dignity to encourage their individual growth; and,• give the company a fair rate of return for the value given; to pay timely and in full the company’s vendors; to grow the business and through growth give rewards to employees and the owners; and, to donate funds and resources to selected non-profits to support our community and those in need.
Our History
Sulli's Landscaping Inc. Denver was started in the early 1970's by Mike Sulli who was the owner until January 3, 2021, when Tim Jukola purchased the business using the name Little Foot Landscaping Co. Mike came from New Jersey to Colorado in his 20's. He began working in the Denver Metro area for a few local firms as a tree and shrub trimmer. Soon he brought himself a 1957 pick up truck and an old model two ton truck and began his own business called Sulli's Shrub Service.
While still engaged in the tree and shrub trimming business Mike began to service requests for small landscape jobs. Once an architect firm called and had Mike trim some small trees for a builder. That builder had other requests such as landscape warranty work, model homes and full yard landscaping for developments. Mike met many people while working with this home builder, some of whom branched out on their own and some who went to work for others. These healthy relationships and honest, excellent performance have resulted in a growing and respected business.
After almost fifty years in this business, Mike decided it was time to retire, but he didn't know what ti do with the business. He started to look at what alternatives existed.
So enters Tim Jukola and Little Foot Yard Care. Tim started Little Foot Yard Care after graduating Denver Lutheran High School where he was in charge of maintaining the playing fields his junior and senior years. He had also been mowing several neighbors’ yards and taking care of his neighborhood’s common areas with his older brother for a couple of years. He decided he liked working a physical outdoor job and started Little Foot Yard Care in 2011. He also attended both Front Range Community College and Red Rocks Community College taking horticulture classes. Over the next ten years Little Foot Yard Care grew steadily with more customers each year and adding several commercial customers as well. Tim began taking care of the Sulli’s lawn due to a neighbor’s recommendation, and Tim and Mike began talking. Mike realized that he and Tim had a similar business philosophy and that Tim might be a good person to entrust Mike’s business. Tim also was at point where he needed to expand in some form in order to have a viable, long-term business. Mike and Tim began negotiations regarding the purchase of Mike’s business. They quickly agreed to the terms, but there were delays which out of their control which pushed back the closing until this January. The closing finally happened on January 3, 2022. Both Mike and Tim want Mike’s continued wisdom and experience to help the business to grow. Mike’s wisdom and experience will be valued into the future.Tim intends to continue to develop and expand these healthy relationships and honest, excellent performances that Mike has so successfully developed over the last fifty years and that results in a trusted, growing and respected business.

Mike has become my "go-to guy" for landscaping my rental properties in the Denver area. He and his crew do excellent work for reasonable prices. They are prompt to respond to emails, complete all projects on time and within budget, and provide timely feedback on what will or won't work with your property. ZERO complaints from me!
