"We have used Sulli's Landscaping twice at two different properties now. The first time they put in a flagstone patio set in concrete, new sod, and planting beds in a small back yard. The finished product was even better than we anticipated. The second time we used them they removed all the old grass and thatch on our entire yard and replaced with new sod also installing a new in-ground sprinkler system. They had to remove an old outdated system that was put in before laying the sod. In addition, they put in a brick patio along with planting areas in our backyard. Again the finished product was even better than we anticipated.
Mike Sulli the owner is very professional and good to work with. He is responsive and punctual. The crews that work for him are also very professional and get the job done quickly. The job was started and work was done every day consistently until finished. They never just didn't show up one day or have gaps in the work etc - as I have experienced with other contractors. I have had some questions and needed help with a minor issue with the sprinkler system. Mike Sulli came out to my home personally to help. The service and level of professionalism along with the end product are all stellar with these guys. We will use them again for sure."

Mike Sulli designed new beds.
"Mike Sulli designed new beds for front sidewalk area and area near front door. His crew executed all planting per the specs, planted a new tree and shrubs in the backyard and installed irrigation for all new plantings. Remulched entire property. Removed some dead shrubs.
This project went very well. Mike was professional and had good ideas on the designs on the beds and the plants. He introduced me to some new plants I was not familiar with. He presented me with detailed drawings so that I could visualize the project.
He was flexible about my adding in an additional piece (I wanted him to remove three Mugo pines and replant that bed with Euonymous Manhattan, lupines and three transplanted roses.) He selected very nice plant material for the project including a really beautiful specimen of Chanticleer Pear. When I was not myselfsure of what type of shrub might work best in an area, he provided good advice and choices, I felt. He kept current on all changes so that there were no surprises at the end of the project. The crew cleaned up nicely and left me smiling at my beautiful new beds!"

"Sulli's Landscaping came in and removed old dirt, weeds, old irrigation system, and removed a tree. They built two nice retaining walls, one in the front and one in the back. They installed a brand new irrigation system with sprinkler heads in both front/back yard. They planted new shrubs, plants and trees and put in kentucky bluegrass sod in both front/back yards. They also installed two new wood gates for our left/right side yards and placed a new section of posts for our back fence.
Sulli's Landscaping came out and gave us a with a landscape plan that met our wants and needs. We decided to use them because of their good past reviews and reasonable price. Mike Sulli is very knowledgeable and was very helpful in working with us on meeting our expectations. We ran into a few roadblocks with communication at the beginning but Mike was very responsive and everything turned out beautifully in the end. His team cleaned up after themselves and were very respectful and friendly. They completed everything in just 3 1/2 weeks. We are really happy with the quality of work and our neighbors and friends keep commenting on how great it looks."

Removed old aggregate concrete
"Removed old aggregate concrete from front walkway and steps, and courtyard patio and upper stairway, and replaced all with flagstone. Also put flagstone caps on existing retaining wall.
Mike called me back right away and came out to the house for an estimate. At first we had decided we wanted pavers for the project, but ultimately decided flagstone would work better. It was expensive, but pretty much in line with other estimates. His crew came when they said they would and arrived on time. We had several delays due to late snow (in May) and rain, so it took longer than we thought it would, but it wasn't their fault. They did excellent work and we are really pleased with the results. I would not hesitate to use them again.

Mike supervised to job from the start.
"Mike Sulli provided a very nice plan that included an extension of the builders sprinklers, sod in the rear area, three aspen trees, multiple shrubs, and a 50 foot long stamped concrete walkway, and a 50 ft. fence across the back of my property .
Mikes team arrived on time and he supervised to job from start to finish, including supervising the concrete walkway subcontractor. I waited a year to write this review to see what would happen if the trees or shrubs did not make it over the winter.
As it turned out one of the Aspens did not survive, and I called Mike and he replaced it right away. Overall I'm very pleased with the outcome, and would recommend Mike to anyone."

Reasonable estimate.
"We had mulch around many of our plants and the wind on our ridge was blowing it all over every winter so we decided we wanted it replaced with crushed rock. Mike Sulli came out as scheduled and gave a very reasonable estimate compared to others we received for the same job. His crew showed up as scheduled and did a good job for us.

Custom brick and front walk.
"I had quite a bit of work done. I installed a new retaining wall, shrubs and an evergreen tree, a custom brick front walk, new sod and rock in the front, and an automated sprinkler system in front and back. Overall, I have to say that things turned out beautifully.
Mike Sulli has been in the business for quite a while, and his work shows it. The retaining wall in the front is not only beautiful, but it serves to reduce the slope of the lawn, thus protecting it from direct sunlight and allowing it to maintain moisture from the sprinklers. Mike was knowledgeable about the shrubs, flowers and trees that perform well in this area. I was also impressed by the details of the work that Mike did. The brick walk is the work of someone who takes his time to do things right - The result is excellent. Also, Mike called and visited several times after the work was complete to make sure that everything was functioning as expected, and that the plants were doing well.
Also, during the design and estimation phases, Mike worked with me to make sure that I wasn't throwing money away on features that either wouldn't do well in this area or might not look right. I found Mike to be a an honest, personable, and conscientious professional. I would recommend him to any friends or family looking for a wide range of landscaping services.

"I had my entire back yard covered with new sod. First they removed all the old sod, placed new topsoil, several passes with the rototiller, then placed the new grass.The work was efficient and the workers very polite. Sunken patio in our back yard.
"Mike Sulli and his crew created a sunken patio in the center of our back yard. They excavated down about 26 inches below ground level and built a continouis retaining wall out of strip stones with a 9-inch topper for seating all the way around. The patio was irregularly shaped, but roughly oval with a circumference of about 100 feet. The patio was paved with flagstones as well as an upper patio area connected to exterior stairs. They also landscaped the area between the retaining wall and the surrounding fence providing beautiful plantings, mulch and a drip irrigation system. They also provided a drainage system with a sump pump to remove rain water or snow melt.
The project took about 20 working days. Mike's crew of three were all very talented and hard-working. Small changes to the plans we went along were accepted cheerfully. The completed project is just stunning. The flagstones are of perfect uniform color and texture. And the stonework is just impeccable. And the total cost for this project was well below competing bids. We are extremely happy and would recommend Sull's to anyone wanting this kind of work performed.

Xeriscape design.
"Sulli's Landscaping was hired to redo our front and back yard landscaping. We wanted a xeriscape design for the front yard and a combination of some xeriscape and some grass in the back yard since we have two dogs.
Sulli's designer worked with us to come up with a plan we were all happy with and which our HOA approved.
My wife and I were absolutely thrilled with the quality of the design, the actual work performed by the Sulli crew and the final outcome. It took two weeks to remove the old landscape and completely redo the front and backyard. The crew showed up every day on time and worked through a long, very hot stretch of June.
The crew cleaned up at the end of every day and I can not say enough good things about the professionalism of these men."

The job went as planned.
"Bought new home from home builder and preferred to do the landscaping myself. One year passed by and with our busy schedules I could not tackle that project. I contacted Sulli's Landscaping after reading the reviews. The job was to remove the vegetation now growing in my patio, remove soil, build a retention wall, install paver stone, and add some brushes for a low maintenance patio.
The job went as planned. Mike came to my house, emailed me an estimate, and worked with me on a few items I wanted to include at a later time. He gave me an estimate when the job was going to start and end. The crew was quiet, polite and clean. They did a good job.
They came one day and removed all the vegetation and dirt from my patio. They remove soil from an area and installed a retention wall. Then they leveled the ground and installed a drainage system since our area has problem with the soil. Then, they spent quite some time installing the paver stone and adding some vegetation to our patio."

Reasonable Pricing & Beautiful Work!
"We installed a paver retaining wall along the side of our house, along with some landscape fabric/river rock. There was some dirt-work required as well.
Of the four landscaping contractors we quoted, Mike was the first to respond and his pricing was very reasonable. He told us where he was sourcing the pavers from so we could make our color selection. He was upfront about the total cost (his quote included applicable taxes and labor) and schedule.
Job was completed on time and it's beautiful! Retaining wall is super sturdy and is laid out exactly how we described in our emails back and forth. Mike's team installed everything while we were at work and cleaned up after themselves ~ you'd never even know they were here.
We've already received compliments on the wall, and we're looking forward to working with Mike again on future projects!"

Flagstone patio.
"We had a flagstone patio completed, xeriscaping and grass on areas of the back yard.
The over all experience was very good. His crew came in and cleaned up the backyard and started the patio area. The crew completed the flagstone patio. Then moved on to preparing the north side of the yard for xeriscaping. In partnership with Mike Sulli, we picked local plants and his crew did a great job with the area. The last area to be completed, was the south side of the yard which included grass and some plants along the fence. Neighbors and friends have commented on the great looking yard.
We found that Mike was very responsive to our needs and requests. When we needed the sprinklers adjusted, he took care of it himself. When we needed a few plants replaced because the originals were not taking, again he took care of it without a problem. His crew did a great job with the flagstone patio."

Good, Fast & Inexpensive!
"I purchased a new home at Anthem Highlands in Broomfield CO, and needed to complete the rear landscaping, and enhance the front.
I contacted several landscaping contractors from referrallist.com, and Mike Sulli was quick to respond, and offered the lowest price.
He visited my home to examine my plan, and offered solid recommendations to assure quality and minimize cost. We later visited the nursery together, and picked out some fantastic evergreens with his expert assistance.
The installation was started and completed on time and UNDER budget (he made an adjustment based upon a reduced materials requirement).
The workers were accessible, communicative, and cooperative. They paid great attention to detail, and cheerfully accommodated our picky requests for boulder placement and tree rotation. They cleaned up completely, and the result is exactly as we desired.

Landscaping Project
"I can't say enough about the OUTSTANDING JOB that was done by Sulli’s Landscaping, his foreman, Jose, and the crew that worked on my Landscaping Project, which included the following:
1. Removal of an old Juniper hedge along the front yard next to the street and installation of a beautiful Retaining Wall in its place.
2. Installing 13 Korean Dwarf Lilac Bushes along the retaining wall with a rock bed beneath them.
3. Moving five sprinkler heads and adding Bluegrass sod to accommodate the added yard space.
4. Installing concrete around the roadside of my corner lot including an Irrigation Ditch by D.J. Feighner Associated Contractors, Inc.
5. Installing Concrete Borders around the shrubs as a separator between decorative rock and lawn by Landscape Borders Inc.
They were organized, methodical, and diligent in getting the job done. They are highly professional and skilled workers paying close attention to every detail throughout the course of the Landscape Project. Their Subcontractors, D.J Feighner Associated Contractors, Inc. and Landscape Borders, Inc., were also highly professional and did an excellent job. Great Results, Good Value, On Time
"Sulli's Landscaping completed a total overhaul of my back yard in the fall of 2007, including drainage, grass, edging, underlayment, rock and bark, and I couldn't be happier with the process and results. The bid was accurate and the price was very reasonable. The workers were respectful and paid attention to their work - I saw no goofing off and no heap of trash left behind. The job was completed timely and I never needed to call them back for a problem. Today, more than 2 years later and with a little upkeep, my yard is still gorgeous. "I am taking the time to write this testimonial to discuss Mr. Sulli's business practices. Mr. Sulli performed three separate jobs at my residence in Lakewood. Each project had problems and difficulties. Mr. Sulli dealt with the scheduling and weather conflicts with ease. He made accommodations in his schedule to overcome scheduling mistakes and problems from my other contractors. The employees of Mr. Sulli were diligent, competent, and appeared on schedule. Additionally, they were polite and cleaned up nicely. Mr. Sulli's experience and knowledge were very helpful.
